Short, because there is not much to it. Ponderanda is free, there is nothing to sign up to, and we would rather say the few things that matter than bury them.

Ponderanda is made by Emberfig, a two-person app studio based in Nigeria. You can reach us at hello@emberfig.com. There is no support desk. The two of us read everything.
The app and this website cost nothing. There is no paid tier held back behind the free one, no trial that expires, and nothing to unlock. Every past day stays playable, free and uncapped, and so do the practice paths.
The Android app is paid for by advertising, described in the privacy policy. The daily ladder itself carries no advertising, and that is permanent. There are no ads at all while you are solving.
There is no account, so there is nothing for you to create and nothing for us to close. Stop using it whenever you like by deleting it, and nothing of yours stays behind on our side, because there was nothing there to begin with.
Play it, on as many of your own devices as you like. Share your results, screenshot them, post them anywhere. The whole point of one ladder a day is that everyone has the same one to talk about.
What we ask you not to do is narrow. Do not redistribute the app through other stores or as a modified build, do not strip the advertising, and do not republish the puzzles as your own. The first two take our income, the third takes the reason anyone would trust either of us.
The app and this site are provided as they are. We test on the devices we own, which is not every device, and we cannot promise everything works everywhere, that a release is free of defects, or that a service stays available. If something we ship costs you work or time, we are sorry, and we will fix it, but we cannot accept liability for it. That is the ordinary trade for software given away with no account and no contract. We would rather state it plainly here than in capital letters at the bottom of a page.
What we do promise is narrower and we can keep it. When something breaks and we know about it, you hear it from us, plainly, with what happens next.
It does not make you smarter. It will not improve your focus, your memory or your general intelligence, and we do not say otherwise anywhere in the app, on this site, or on the store listing.
What it can honestly offer is narrower and actually measurable: you get faster at the arithmetic you practise. The app will tell you by how much, and it stays quiet until it has enough of your own data to say something true, which takes about two months of playing.
There is no account, no sign-in and no sync. Your solve history, your streaks and your settings stay on your own device and are never uploaded. The full detail, including the one anonymous counter and the advertising, is in the privacy policy.
We will change this page when the product changes, and the date at the top moves when we do. We will not quietly rewrite it. If something changes that actually affects you, it gets said out loud rather than buried in a policy revision.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where we are based. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in, and where the two disagree, your local law wins.
We wrote this ourselves, in the same plain language as everything else here, rather than pasting in a template we had not read. It is not legal advice and we are not lawyers. If you need certainty for something that matters, take proper advice rather than relying on a page written by two developers.
